The 2nd Okinawa Karate World Junior Tournament was held for five days from August 8 to 12, 2024. Thanks to everyone’s cooperation, we were able to complete all the programs without a hitch.

　First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to many companies, organizations, and individuals who donated and supported us during the holding of this tournament. Thanks to everyone’s support, the event was a great success.

　In addition, thanks to the efforts of the judges, support staff, interpreters, part-time staff and the tournament management support team who have been involved in the operation of this event, we were able to finish the tournament smoothly.

　The Executive Committee will continue to hold the Okinawa Karate World Tournaments to encourage karate enthusiasts from all over the world to visit “Okinawa, the birthplace of karate”, and to interact with each other, thereby realizing the future vision of the preservation, transmission, promotion, and development of Okinawa’s proud traditional culture, Okinawa karate.
