(Athletes and related parties) Competition: Directions on the day of the event
The 2nd Okinawa Karate World Tournament and the 1st Okinawa Karate World Junior Tournament will be held from Tuesday, August 2nd, 2012 (qualifying rounds for overseas, out-of-prefecture, and outlying islands within Okinawa Prefecture, as well as the main tournament).
Hereinafter, we will provide you with further information on the day of the event. (General information)
■Access
-There is no private parking available at the Okinawa Prefectural Budokan. Please use the shuttle bus or public transportation.
-Parking is available at the Okinawa Karate Kaikan, but is limited. Please use the shuttle bus or public transportation whenever possible.
■Reception
-On the day of the competition, please register at the reception desk approximately one hour prior to the start of the competition.
-Please note that the reception desk for competitors and coaches is different from that for general visitors.
-We expect that it might get crowded on the day of the event, so please arrive well in advance.
■Countermeasures against corona infection
-Please comply with the “Measures to Prevent the Spread of Novel Coronavirus Infections” during the tournament.

(1) The maximum number of visitors to each venue will be limited to 70% of the maximum capacity.
(2) Competitors will be required to take a qualitative antigen test and to present a negative test result before participating in the tournament.

-For non-competitors, a “Health Check Sheet” must be submitted along with a temperature check and use of hand sanitizer upon entry.
– If you are not feeling well, please do not attend.
■Other information
*On the day of the tournament, please bring your ID card and register at the reception desk inside the venue. *Please note that those who forget their ID card or number cloth will not be allowed to participate.
*Number cloths must be sewn onto the karate-gi in advance (safety pins are not acceptable).
*Only competitors, coaches, and related personnel are allowed on the floor of the venue. Please be sure to wear your ID card around your neck while on the floor.
*Please confirm the Competition Guidelines, Rules and Regulations and Judge and Referee Regulations in advance.
