The Okinawa Karate World Tournament 2022 (the 2nd Okinawa Karate World Tournament and the 1st Junior　Okinawa Karate World Tournament) was able to complete all programs thanks to the cooperation of the participants and everyone involved. Above all, on behalf of the organizers, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their cooperation, which made it possible to run the tournament safely and securely, even though it was held during the coronavirus pandemic. By continuing to hold this tournament, karate enthusiasts from all over the world will visit “Okinawa, the birthplace of karate” and interact with each other, we will work to realize the future image that we should aim for Preservation, Inheritance, promotion and development of Okinawa karate, the traditional culture that Okinawa boasts.
