Application Procedure for Using the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark” at the Okinawa Karate World Tournament

1. When using only the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark”

Based on the Regulations for the Use of the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark,” submit an application for use authorization to the Okinawa Dento Karatedo Shinkokai.

2. When using a poster design that does not include the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark”

Based on the “Guidelines for Handling Posters of The 3rd Okinawa Karate World Tournament,” submit an application for permission to use the poster to the Okinawa Karate World Tournament Executive Committee Secretariat (Karate Promotion Division, Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Okinawa Prefectural Government)).

3. When using a poster design that includes the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark”

(1) Submit an application for permission to use to the Okinawa Dento Karatedo Shinkokai. An application for permission to use to the Okinawa Karate World Tournament Executive Committee Secretariat (Karate Promotion Division, Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Okinawa Prefectural Government) is not required.
(2) When the Okinawa Dento Karatedo Shinkokai grants permission to use a poster design that includes the “Okinawa Karate Symbol Mark,” it shall report this to the Okinawa Karate World Tournament Executive Committee Secretariat (Karate Promotion Division, Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Okinawa Prefectural Government).
